The Healing Mind, LLC
My ideal client is “stuck” emotionally and struggling to align themselves with their values and hopes for the future. This client may use drugs and alcohol to cope with anxiety and depression and/or a history of trauma. I am well trained in all areas of addiction treatment and can offer medication management by a prescribing nurse when necessary. Post-traumatic stress disorder is a common issue for many of my clients, and I specialize in processing trauma with clients in a safe environment. Adolescents and young adults with anxiety and depression who have begun using drugs and alcohol to cope are also my clients.
My approach is strengths-based, with a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Systems Therapy (IFS), as well as a psychodynamic look at individuals and their interpersonal relationships. I offer compassionate care in a judgment free space.
Services
The Healing Mind offers counseling to individuals and families, as well as wellness therapies and group programming. Current group programming includes "Recovery Support" and "Trauma Processing for Women"
