Dr. Chisholm is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Health Services Provider, and Clinical Neuropsychologist. She completed her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College and her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Dr. Chisholm completed a neuropsychology-focused predoctoral internship at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System/Yale Medical School. She completed one year of postdoctoral training in neuropsychology at McLean Hospital and a second year at a large behavioral healthcare practice in metro Boston. She has experience assessing cognitive functioning across the lifespan, from neurodevelopmental and learning disorders in young children through neurodegenerative diseases in older adults.
Dr. Chisholm also is a Massachusetts licensed School Psychologist. She has worked as a district psychologist for the Weston, MA public schools, providing evaluations for K-12 students. She also has served as a psychologist consultant for the Hingham, MA public schools.
Her background provides Dr. Chisholm unique insight into the nature of both clinical neuropsychological and school-based assessments, along with an understanding of special education regulations and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and 504 plans; this enables her to provide useful and actionable academic recommendations for the school setting.
