I have a personable style with clients and strive to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in session where clients feel comfortable bringing issues at stake to light. I believe in helping people to problem-solve and create opportunities for themselves.I use a common-sense approach to helping clients and work collaboratively with them to set short, medium, and long-term goals. I enjoy helping people learn through adversity and find their own inner-strength.

I carry a diverse caseload of teens, young adults, and adults with an emphasis on working with clients who are parents, caregivers, and siblings of people with developmental disabilities as well as clients who have developmental disabilities. I have been working with families who have children with unique needs for 8 years as both an advocate and a therapist.
I understand that many family members go through a period of grief around the initial diagnosis of a loved one with a developmental delay such as Autism or Intellectual Disability and the resulting strain, anxiety, and or depression that having or caring for someone with a lifelong disability can bring. I work with clients to provide insight and understanding around the disability, minimize symptoms of anxiety and depression, and identify resources they may need to best support themselves and their loved ones.
