Honoring Grief Through the Holidays

Do you find yourself struggling to think about the holidays alongside your grief? Does the thought of celebrating without your loved one bring you sadness, anger, anxiety? Do you feel you are expected to celebrate as normal? Are you having difficulty thinking about being “joyful” during this time of the year?

If this sounds similar to what you are feeling, I invite you to join me in this 2 hour virtual workshop building upon your skills to cope with your grief through this hard time of year.

Grieving is one of the most universal but often loneliest feelings we encounter as humans. In this space I invite you to show up knowing any part of your grief is accepted and honored.

This workshop is an opportunity to join with others sharing similar feelings of loss. In this workshop we will review and learn various coping strategies to manage your grief; including breath work, somatic work, and grounding. We will also work on building a personalized plan for managing the holiday season alongside your grief. We will not be processing your grief during this virtual workshop.  However, there will be a brief amount of time to share and honor your loss.

Please consider joining me on Saturday November 15th from 10:00am-12:00pmET.  To register go to brendakorchlicsw.com and under the tab Workshops.

I hope to see you then.

Warmly,

Brenda
