I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose client population includes, individuals, couples, families and groups. Currently, I work with couples who are experiencing a loss of connection, as well as communication and intimacy difficulties. These couples are often facing life cycle transitions. I also work with families, primarily families with adolescent children. These families have children with behavioral issues, mental health challenges, and many times are dealing with trauma and loss. I also work with the LGBTQ population. My practice includes a culturally and socio-economically diverse population.
I also help separated and divorced couples navigate this transition by encouraging a dialogue to help identify their challenges. Through a non adversarial process, couples are able to reach fair and equitable decisions. My approach is strength based and I encourage solutions which work for both the couple and the best interests of the children.
