As a clinical social worker with over 16 years of experience, I have a deep respect for the therapeutic process. I have witnessed meaningful, impactful, and long-lasting change through the hard work of individuals, families, and groups willing to engage in the therapeutic process. In a time of unprecedented loss, loneliness, and uncertainty, it’s more important than ever that we take care of our mental health and connect meaningfully to ourselves and our loved ones.

I offer a strength-based, client-centered collaborative approach with adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, life transitions, family and relationship struggles, chronic and acute medical illness, major mental illness, and substance use disorders. In addition, I have worked extensively with the very important caregivers whose lives are impacted by the behavioral and physical health of their loved ones. As a certified Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT) facilitator, I work directly with caregivers around how to communicate, intervene, and guide your loved one toward recovery from addiction.

Therapy is not a one-size-fits all approach. Individual differences in personality, life experiences, cultural backgrounds, cognitive styles, emotional needs, and biological makeup require a tailored approach for each individual. I work collaboratively with clients to understand how to best meet their therapeutic needs. Successful, effective therapy requires a good fit between the therapist and client.
