(Currently not accepting new patients). I have always prioritized a mutual sense of familiarity, fit and collaboration with my clients. Once this is established, we will engage in an ongoing conversation that will yield improved insight about who you are in most situations. It is not my goal to fix a person. Rather, to awaken who he/she is so they may access their OWN authentic way of being in the world. With an emphasis on psychodynamics, existential thought and systems theory, my sessions will evoke a wide range of emotions, laughter and clarity. Your needs will always be balanced with our goals.
Although I have solid background in most presenting issues, I have discovered a particular passion for my work with the Eating Disordered population. My work with individuals, families AND their clinical team(s) fosters a fluid and complete intervention tailored to the individual and their family struggling with this overwhelming problem.
At times, we may discover the benefits of incorporating other participants to deepen the complexity of our work together. My flexibility and creativity opens the potential for new combinations of participants to attend our meetings. Together, we will assess the utility of this possibility and implement it whenever it is warranted.
